This class provides training on cost report preparation from the provider's perspective. We will discuss Lessons Learned from last year and provide tips to minimize the stress of completing the report. We will especially review issues relating to CAP Providers and Residential Providers who may be completing the report for the first time.
By attending this seminar, NC providers will learn how to refine their business processes and better prepare for Medicaid Cost Reporting. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of the general ledger/accounting data and the consumer services data required for an accurate cost report. More importantly, participants will learn how to use the same data to better manage their own companies and survive in the current NC Behavioral Healthcare environment. As an added BONUS, each participant will receive an Access Database that can be populated and used as the supporting services documentation required by the Controller's office. There will also be time for questions and answers to address your specific needs.
Each participant will recive a CD with training information, allocation calculation examples and an Access Database for service data collection.
